SAFETY
We develop site-specific safety plans for all our employees and subcontractors. We conduct weekly safety training sessions. Most of our employees are seasoned veterans within their trades, a company-wide feature that lowers the probability of human error.
Their jobs come as second nature, which decreases room for error and increases overall safety in the field, which, to us, is the most priceless service of all.

CAM THRUTCHLEY
Prior to Jones, Cam spent 27 years at Honeywell across various global sales and strategy leadership roles across Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas, primarily responsible for leading Honeywell’s strategy and major sales pursuits and strategic relationships across energy transition and decarbonization new energy ventures. Cam holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Cam resides in Houston, Texas, and enjoys golf and tennis, church activities, volunteering as a Young Life Texas board member, and traveling with his wife Amie and their four children.
DAVID ARNESON
MIKE BOGIE
Mr. Bogie comes to Jones Power with 20 years of experience in the energy and construction sectors. His most recent role was as Senior Director of Project Management for Origis Energy and prior to that he worked at NextEra Energy and served as an officer on the USS Jefferson City (SSN-759). Mike brings to the table a strong technical and commercial background and a deep understanding of the entire life cycle of a renewable energy project. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the University of Florida. Mike is registered as a Professional Engineer in Florida and holds various contractor licenses across other states as well.
JEFF DILLON
Prior to working at Jones, he was a supervisor with various steel companies on project locations in the Louisiana area and was the sole owner of J&J Steel, Inc. from 1992 to 1997.
Jeff is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for land and wildlife management. He loves enjoying the outdoors with his family and friends, but also volunteering at church and giving back to his community.
MALCOLM ZABANEH
Malcolm graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nicholls State University. Over the course of his career, he has served various roles involving Midstream, Upstream and Renewable construction.
Outside of work, Malcolm enjoys engaging in community assistance and traveling with his family, regularly exploring new corners of the world.
DAN VEGA
As Chief Financial Officer, Dan Vega is responsible for heading the finance and accounting departments. Within this role, Dan leads the annual budgeting and forecasting process, leads integral technology implementations, and engages in continuous process improvement projects. He enjoys the challenge of identifying opportunities for improvement and seeing the positive impact they have on the organization.
Prior to Jones, Dan worked as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of TGR Industrial Services, a private-equity company that services the oil and gas markets. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Texas A&M University (2005), and a Master of Business Adminstration degree from the University of Houston (2010).
Outside of work, Dan typically spends time outdoors hunting, fishing, and playing golf when the weather is pleasant. He has an interest in history and enjoys traveling to places such as Rome, Athens, or London when he can. Dan currently resides in Houston, TX with his wife, Molly, and their two children.
CARTER WILEY
As Vice President of Business Development, Carter is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives among Jones Power’s sales and business development efforts. He and his team help lead Jones Power’s growth by maintaining key relationships with industry stakeholders both in the pipeline and renewables industries.
Prior to starting with Jones over 4 years ago, Carter held a similar role with Evraz North America, a steel pipe manufacturer in the energy sector. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Away from work, Carter loves traveling with his wife, skiing, playing golf and spending as much time as possible with his two daughters.
MARK FISCHER
Mark began his career in the energy industry in 2007 developing engineering and construction services for the oil & gas industry. In 2019 the renewable transition began for traditional energy companies. Mark made the move to utility solar development and joined Jones Power in 2021 to help with a similar transition from traditional energy development to utility scale solar.
Mark enjoys spending time with his family coastal cruising and ocean sailing. He also enjoys golf, skeet, hunting, and volunteering.
ANDREW SHIVERS
Andrew graduated with both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from Ole Miss. Prior to starting with Jones, Andrew held various roles in the oil and gas and financial services industries.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, and watching Ole Miss football.
BRENT FREEMAN
Brent Freeman began with Jones Power in 2019 and is currently a Senior Project Manager. In this role, he oversees the project management team as well as the safe and timely completion of midstream and renewable energy projects. Brent enjoys tackling new challenges that each day brings, and travels to project sites to be hands-on in the field.
He has extensive experience as a project manager in the pipeline and construction fields, previously working with companies such as Mitchell Contracting, MG Dyess, and Mott McDonald. Brent is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology (2008). He also holds several OSHA certifications he received through the Georgia Tech Safety Institute.
Brent is an avid outdoorsman, spending most of his time playing golf, hunting, and fishing. He and his family love to spend time in Bay St. Louis, MS for weekend trips, or at home cooking on the smoker and watching his favorite teams, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, Atlanta Braves, or New Orleans Saints. Brent resides in Hattiesburg, MS with his wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Georgia.
AUSTIN BRANNAN
PROJECT MANAGER
Having joined the Jones Power team last year, Austin Brannan is a Project Manager for renewables projects. In this position, he is responsible for the planning and execution of large-scale solar projects. Austin takes pride in the success and growth he sees in operations and enjoys working with the rest of the team to build something great.
Austin is a recent graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (2021). He is also currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree at Southern Miss.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys playing and watching sports, mainly basketball or golf. He is an avid New Orleans Saints fan, and when he can get away from the office, he loves to vacation in Seaside, Florida. Austin resides in Hattiesburg, MS with his fiancé, Bethany.
ALEX LEE
PROJECT MANAGER
One of Jones Power’s newest team members is Alex Lee, Project Manager for Renewables projects. In this role, Alex is responsible for overseeing every aspect of a solar energy project from beginning to end. He enjoys working on estimates and takes pride in the completion of a project and seeing the results of teamwork.
Alex has ample experience in the construction industry, focusing on DOT, aviation, and USACE projects for the past 8 years. He is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology (2015).
He is a lifetime Southern Miss and New Orleans Saints fan and enjoys attending as many games as he can. Alex met his wife of 8 years, Janee, during college and enjoys being a “girl dad” to his daughters, Lucy (6), and Joanna (3). As a family, they enjoy camping at the lake or participating in little league sports, where Alex is involved as a coach.

ESTIMATOR
Bryant Hensleigh is one of the newest members of the Jones Power team, joining this year as an estimator. In this position, Bryant is responsible for the estimation of both midstream and renewable projects. He enjoys the challenge of always learning something new, as no project is ever the same.
Prior to joining Jones Power, Bryant worked as a project engineer, creating detailed designs and specifications for civil construction projects, and supervised the installation of civil and stormwater prevention measures. He is an alumnus of Mississippi State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (2018).
Outside of work, Bryant loves to hunt and fish, support the Bulldogs (Mississippi State), and spend time with his wife, Mallory, and daughter, Heidi Claire.
SARAH LAMBETH
ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Since joining Jones Power in 2019, Sarah Lambeth has served as Assistant Controller. In her role, she is responsible for GAAP, preparing and consolidating financial statements, and providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received her bachelor’s (2014) and master’s (2015) degrees in Accountancy. After graduating, Sarah worked for HORNE, LLC in the Hattiesburg, Ridgeland, and Nashville locations, beginning as an associate to becoming supervisor, completing public and private financial institution audits.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to travel to the beach, watch sports, or scrapbooking. She is a supporter of Ole Miss athletics but has also converted to a Southern Miss fan which she credits to her husband Lloyd, who works for Jones Power’s sister company, SPOT. Sarah and Lloyd reside in Hattiesburg, MS with their son, Luke.
RILEY McWHORTER
PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
Joining Jones Power in 2017, Riley McWhorter is an experienced project accountant. He takes pride in working with all phases of midstream and renewable projects, focusing on managing P&L statements, allocations, and reconciling expenses and revenue.
Riley holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accountancy from The University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to joining the Jones team, Riley worked as a staff accountant at his alma mater.
In his free time, you can find Riley at the golf course, attending a Southern Miss game, or rooting on his favorite teams, the New Orleans Saints, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Riley loves to vacation at the beach or Chattanooga and spend time with his wife, Misty, and sons Owen (7) and Abram (4).
KELSEY BARRETT
MARKETING MANAGER
Kelsey Barrett is the Marketing Manager for Jones Power. She is responsible for implementing and executing strategic marketing plans through various channels in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. Kelsey enjoys the challenge of learning something new, keeping up to date with the latest marketing trends, and collaborating with her colleagues.
Prior to joining Jones, Kelsey served in various roles in the marketing profession developing extensive experience in the automotive, hospitality, and community development industries. She is an alumna of The University of Southern Mississippi, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management (2016).
Kelsey is avidly involved in the Hattiesburg community, serving on the boards for Partners for the Arts at Southern Miss, the local chapter of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi, and serves on the Community Impact Committee for United Way of Southeast Mississippi. She is also a recent graduate of Leadership Pinebelt, a leadership development program. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys traveling, attending concerts, being on the water, and spending time with her fur babies, Hattie and Marc.
PAUL PACE
PROJECT ANALYST
Paul Pace is a Project Analyst at Jones Power. Joining Jones Power in 2013, he takes pride in working with a variety of people, ensuring all projects are properly invoiced, and providing the estimation team with accurate updates on profitability.
Prior to Jones, Paul co-owned and operated Pace Brothers Enterprise for 20 years where he built roads and bridges, conducted private surveys, and staked construction sites. Paul is an alumnus of Mississippi State University (1986) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He also holds Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Licenses.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys watching his favorite college sports teams, Mississippi State and Belhaven University football, and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He is involved with the First Baptist Church of Columbia where he serves as a deacon and works with the youth congregation. He has been married to his wife, Tracy, for 38 years, and together have three sons, Travis, Tanner, and Ras, and four grandchildren.
AUSTIN SMITH
SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Austin Smith joined Jones Power this year as a Senior Estimator. Austin supports the operations team by preparing estimations for renewables projects. He takes great pride in seeing a job come to fruition, from the initial stages of planning and estimation to completion, and how teamwork can make a project successful.
He joined Jones with several years of experience in both the oil and gas and civil construction industries, with a history of managing civil and utility projects throughout the southeast, as well as performing major upgrades to offshore drilling rigs in countries such as Malta, Turkey, India, and Scotland. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology (2010) from The University of Southern Mississippi and continued his education at Mississippi State University, where he received his Master of Business Administration (2011).
Outside of work, Austin enjoys attending sporting events and rooting for the Golden Eagles (Southern Miss). He also enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, being an active member of Venture Church, or traveling to his favorite vacation spots. Austin resides in Hattiesburg, MS with his wife, Hayley, and their daughters, Sadie Marie (5) and Mary Michael (2).
GARRET RATCLIFF
HSE COORDINATOR
One of Jones Power’s newest team additions is Garret Ratcliff, HSE Coordinator. In this position, he is responsible for employee training, incident case management, and safety inspections for on-site job crews. Garret takes great pride in always putting safety first, and ensuring that projects are finished in a safe, timely manner.
He has extensive safety experience in the oil and gas industry, working with companies such as Strike and Milestone Pipeline. He has held various supervisory roles overseeing job site safety, trainings, inspections, and incident case management. He holds an associate degree in Occupational Safety & Health (2013) as well as several OSHA and NUCA certifications.
In his free time, Garret enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, or working on the farm with his dad and son. When able, he loves to vacation in Wyoming or Colorado. Garret resides in the Mars Hill community outside of Summit, MS with his wife, Peyton, and their son, Rush.
JOSH DAVIS
MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Josh Davis joined the Jones Power team in 2021 as Maintenance Coordinator. In this position, he oversees all heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring that the assets are maintained through repairs and preventative maintenance, and are compliant with federal and state regulations. Josh works closely with the operations team with asset preparation, controls, and purchasing, and maintains fleet records in accordance with DOT regulations.
With 15 years in the oil and gas industry under his belt, Josh worked with Diamond Offshore Drilling as a derrickman where he maintained fluid density and mud systems, and serviced oil and gas wells and drilling equipment throughout operations.
Outside of work, Josh likes spending time outdoors hunting, cooking, and watching his favorite football teams, LSU and Southern Miss. Josh is a talented builder, and enjoys making various pieces of furniture, doing home improvement projects, and learning new techniques. Josh’s proudest accomplishments to date are being a husband to his wife, Kim, and a father to their son, Rhett (6).
