HATTIESBURG, MS. January 17, 2024 – Part of getting healthy options to hungry Mississippians is breaking down bulk donations from Mississippi farmers. Jones Power, partnered with Extra Table, took 1,600 lb of rice and created meal portions that will be distributed to 62 food pantries throughout Mississippi and distributed to hungry families.

We want to thank the staff at Extra Table for coming by and allowing us the opportunity to help feed our community. Thanks to all the Jones Power employees who participated. We all had a great time and look forward to our next community service event!
