BAHIA PIPIELINE PROJECT

The BAHIA PIPELINE PROJECT is an ongoing 550-mile-long NGL pipeline system that will bridge the gap between the prolific Delaware and Midland basins and the fractionation complex in Chambers County, Texas.

Composed of a 30-inch diameter main pipeline designed to transport up to 600,000 barrels per day of NGLs, the Bahia Project also includes a 24-inch diameter segment from the Delaware Basin. This ambitious project employed all three major modes of transportation: rail, trucking, and barge, showcasing the complexity and scale of the operation.

Jones Power was entrusted with critical logistics and management aspects of this large-scale commercial project. Our comprehensive scope of work included yard selection, procurement, management, and reclamation; rail siding selection; rail logistics management; and pipe offloading, trucking, and racking. Our team’s expertise in multi-modal transportation and logistics was key to the project’s progress.

Our team mobilized quickly to tackle the diverse challenges presented by this expansive pipeline project. We coordinated seamlessly across rail, road, and water transport systems, ensuring efficient movement of materials and equipment for the project. With Jones Power’s contribution now complete, the Bahia Pipeline Project continues its development towards facilitating the transportation of valuable natural gas liquids from key production areas to processing facilities, set to play a vital role in Texas’ energy infrastructure.
