JONES FARM SOLAR PROJECT

ACCELERATING MARYLAND’S CLEAN ENERGY FUTURE
Jones Power successfully completed the civil construction for the JONES FARM SOLAR PROJECT, a 64-megawatt solar installation located in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. This project plays a crucial role in Maryland’s ambitious renewable energy goals, contributing to the state’s target of 50% renewable energy by 2030 and 100% clean electricity by 2040.

Our scope of work focused on the critical civil construction phase, laying the groundwork for this innovative solar facility. The project site, carefully chosen on a remote parcel of land, benefited from existing natural buffers. Our team worked diligently to incorporate wildlife corridors throughout the design, ensuring the preservation and thriving of the natural habitat post-construction.
A key achievement of this project was Jones Power’s execution on a highly accelerated schedule while maintaining full compliance with Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements. Our ability to meet and exceed tight deadlines was instrumental in helping our client achieve critical project milestones. This rapid deployment showcased our team’s efficiency and adaptability in the face of demanding timelines.
By contributing to Maryland’s renewable energy capacity, the Jones Farm Solar Project stands as a testament to Jones Power’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure and our ability to deliver complex projects under pressure.
